Title: WOTLK and Caster Changes
Post by: Urmyboyblue on October 14, 2008, 11:15:13 AM
[blizzard]
Spell casting and spell channeling pushback has been changed to the following:

    * When casting a spell:
          o The first and second hit will add .5 secs each to the cast time.
          o All hits after the second will have no effect.
    * When channeling a spell:
          o The first and second hit reduces current duration by 25% of total duration each.
          o All hits after the second will have no effect.
[/blizzard]

ok, so i realize that spell pushback talents counter act this, but what about the classes that dont have a spell pushback counter? will they become obsolete, would like some thoughts or input on this.

would like to know how this will effect Caster DPS, and healing.....will make pallies useful tho with there concentration aura

I'm not quite understanding your question.
This will affect all casters. So if you don't have any mechanic that doesn't stop spell push back, the most you'll add to a spell cast is 1 second.
No more 7 second frost bolt. Or as the locks like to say 10 second fear casting, then getting silenced right as it was about to go off  :pumpk5:
