ok so say your at the baron in strat ud...tank charges...this guy can deliver a good amount of damage at one hit. he hits the tank, heal by you (in tree form). eventually, if not downed in a few moments, your mana will go down, and if the tank is at some 1/4-1/2, likely a regrowth will not help all that much...so how good really are tree forms? oh sure, if your not the main healer the aura is great (to the main healer) but if you only have regrowth and the 15 second swiftmend, likely your not going to land the biggest heals, or save any guy whos about to take a beating. with healing touch (this happened for me at least) you heal more overall health then regrowth/rejuv/swiftmend. and while in tree form, healing is all you can do...absolutly horrible for pvp!!

oh, and why the -20% moving speed? im no slow tree :(

For bosses, the heal-over-times are merely time-buyers until you can get off that big healing touch.. Think of them more like a pw:s than an actual heal.

The real beauty of them is in pvp. For every regrowth+rejuv that's on a target, that's about 300 hps worth of regen every 3 seconds. Against another player (or a non-elite pve mob), it's basically 12 seconds of invulnerability. Remember also that every heal-over-time can be applied by a different caster (they all stack).. So if you're in a pvp group, and you've got 3 druids, each casting regrowth+rejuv on the same target, that's about 900 hps every 3 seconds that will be restored. Simply put, it's HUGE. Once druids get lifebloom (lv60+ spell coming in the xpak, basically works like a reverse regrowth spell with the burst at the end), you'll see some huge healing from trees.

IMO,  :pine_tree: Tree is the best form for Raiding.  There is nothing better for it.  Keep a regrowth on the MT.  Crossraid healing using rejuv is HOT.  Keep hots on and if someone gets in trouble, you pop a Swiftmend. Stack the priests in the trees group and all is well with the world.  Can't use it in fights where you have to move fast or decurse/depoison.

ANY OTHER TIME:  pretty much useless.  Sometimes I'll pop into it to pop mana users spirit up. But how often do you need to do that.
