I hate news like this. George Carlin deserves to be remembered as one of the funniest, most brilliant comedians and social commentators of our time, not to mention one of the most passionate free speech advocates of the century. That man knew how to make someone laugh long and loud. Lets not forget the Supreme Court case of FCC v. George Carlin (FCC v. Pacifica) ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F.C.C._v._Pacifica_Foundation )

Most people think Marv is crazy. He just had the rotten luck of being born in the wrong century. He'd be right at home on some ancient battlefield swinging an axe into somebody's face.

Hope he got to take at least some of his stuff with him...

Joe bless ya, George.
