I stumbled on this Google App someone developed that will query your WoW Armory profile and spec and display a list of potential upgrade items for each slot for your character and where to find them.
It looks to be really good.

I do like it, but I think it has some flaws, it doesn't take into account gem slots nor your currently equipped gems and enchants. Also, if you change the default from wowhead to another, idk..... it looks all messed up to me. I really like the idea though.
