Post link to your talent spec and if you like it or don't like it.  This can be for Holy, Disc. or Shadow specs.  Doesn't just have to be for healing specs.

Here is my talent spec link.  I have the dual spec.  My Holy/Disc Healing spec, I like.  It hasn't changed too very much from what I was before the patch.  My 2nd talent spec is going to be shadow, but the points in it were all reset on me so I have to place them again.  I haven't even played Shadow very much because I enjoy healing so much.

Oh come on, I'm not the only priest in our guild!

I share with no one!

But in all seriousness, I love the heavy on the holy with a pinch of discipline hybrid spec. I've been running with that since I hit level 70 (with a few tweaks here and there). Call me resistant to change, but that seems to work out pretty well for me once I learn how to relax and not overheal. Holy makes raid healing so much easier what with the AoE heals. I've rolled Discipline in raids before, but when I do its easier for me to be healing the tank (and by healing the tank, I mean bubble, bubble, bubble). From what I've read on the Elitist Jerks forum, discipline is used more for damage absorption so can't expect the heals and HPS to be phenomenal.

My one true love is healing, but I've dabbled a bit in Shadow as well. For that one I looked to Cyron for his spec. He is some kind of fantastic when it comes to DPS, so I thought if hes got a good thing going he wouldn't mind if I borrowed it ;).

... right Cy?

Thx and nope dont mind at all. :)  I like the build a lot but I do miss my improved vamp embrace to help out healers.  MY disc spec is for pvp and I still dont like it at the moment.

So ill just post my shadow spec http://www.wowarmory.com/character-talents.xml?r=Alexstrasza&n=Cyron&group=1

I am having the hardest time liking shadow spec  ::)  I am thinking of switching to a disc spec for the second dual spec for pvp or something.  We'll see.  I'll give it a little more time.  And Krin, I copied Cyron for shadow spec too lol!

I loved Disc on my priest in BC, even more so after the 3.0 changes right before WotLK, though admittedly I havent played my priest at all since WotLK because I got burnt out on it so I cant really say how good or bad Disc may be except from back when I played it, and since then Id imagine there was some changes to it.

I do know for Disc to work well in a raid/group environment, you need a ton of MP5 and a ton of Int (mana). You're basically a flash heal/PW:Shield spam bot and healing charts will always show you lower, by a significant amount, to other classes/specs in overall healing because the large majority of your benefits come from dmg absorption. I played Disc throughout BC from start to end, so I ended up learning a lot about it and enjoying it a lot more. For soloing, PvP and PvE it was my choice, even with dual specs, I probably wouldnt go with Holy or Shadow but thats me. Again though, I havent played my priest since the last day of BC so I cant really say for certain.

I am told though that Disc priests are sought after for OS + 3 drakes for the sake of being able to shield the raid from tons of dmg making it a little easier on the other healers.

This would likely be a build I would go with for PvE: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#bVhbuGhiRIsffRtfx

PvP would probably be a little different, something like this: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#bxhduIGiRIsffRxbx

For Shadow PvE, I'm using http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#bVcbhZZGxfVRfzcfqfzAo which is probably the same as any other spriest out there right now, we just don't have any spare talent points really.  Imp. Shadowform is a "maybe", but with all the AoE in raids, the pushback protection is huge.

My alt spec is Disc PvP, and I'm using http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#bxIbhhGiRIsfbRtfVz:oTbzV
There's a few alternatives I've been considering, like dropping Imp. Flash Heal for Martyrdom and 1 point in Blessed Recovery.  For more pressure and less survival, you can drop 5/5 Spell Warding for Divine Fury.  I basically find myself never casting GHeal, as Flash Heal + Penance are so much stronger.  Plus, I never really have time in PvP.  In Arena, I'll usually pop PW:S then use the haste from Borrowed Time to snap off a quick Penance, then Flash if necessary.  The other alternative is dropping Imp. Flash Heal for Divine Aegis if your crit is respectably high.  Right now, I personally don't feel it's quite enough.  If I were to do that, I'd also drop Imp. Renew for 3/5 Holy Specialization for the extra base crit.  Mostly I'm happy with it, as I've been facing more casters and DKs/Ret Paladins in Arena, and considering how much of their damage is considered magic, the 5% reduction from Spell Warding is worth it.  If I were hitting higher rating levels, I'd definitely take Divine Fury, and drop Imp. Flash Heal for Divine Aegis and Imp. Renew for more crit.  I'd even consider dropping Mental Agility for Absolution if more and more magic DoT classes were showing up.
