Avynne can make almost all of the above plus Goblin Engineering specifics such as:

[wowitem]Goblin Jumper Cables XL[/wowitem]

[wowitem]Goblin Rocket Boots[/wowitem]
[wowitem]Goblin Rocket Helmet[/wowitem]
[wowitem]Goblin Construction Helmet[/wowitem]

Lynette

Someone explain something to me, please.

I thought one must be a gnome to learn engineering.  Is that true?

Gutboy

Not at all. The confusion comes from the fact that there are two specializations of high-level engineering: gnomish (making cool devices) and goblin (blowing stuff up). As far as I know, any race can be an engineer, and choose either track.

GB, prepared to be corrected by anyone who's actually done engineering

Kothnok

Gb, you are correct.

Please note that Gnomes have a racial bonus for engineering just like Draenai have a racial bonus for JC.
No matter how often you refill the gene pool, there's always a shallow end.

Can any guild engineer make [wowitem]Khorium Power Core[/wowitem]?

Drygioni

Last night off Attumen i got the recipe for [wowitem]Stabilized Eternium Scope[/wowitem] and this morning got 375 Engineering so want one? here the mats:

[wowitem]Hardened Adamantite Tube[/wowitem] x 2
[wowitem]Felsteel Stabilizer[/wowitem] x 6
[wowitem]Star of Elune[/wowitem] x 2

Kothnok

Yes, Khader, Khorium Power Core can be made by at least Drygioni, Marnok and Nahimana.

fyi:
Hardened Adamantite Tube |=| 3 Hardened Adamantite Bars |=| 30 Adamantite Bars |=| 60 Adamantite Ore
Felsteel Stabilizer |=| 2 Felsteel Bar |=| 6 Fel Iron Bar + 4 Eternium Bar |=| 12 Fel Iron ore + 8 Eternium Ore

So Dry's new scope would be
6 Hardened Adamantite Bars |=| 60 Adamantite Bars |=| 120 Adamantite Ore
12 Felsteel Bar |=| 36 Fel Iron Bar + 24 Eternium Bar |=| 72 Fel Iron Ore + 48 Eternium Ore
No matter how often you refill the gene pool, there's always a shallow end.

Kothnok

Marnok can now make the new drops in 2.3:

[wowitem]Field Repair Bot 110G[/wowitem] = 8 Adamantites Bars + 8 Fel Iron Bolts or Bars + [wowitem]Khorium Power Core[/wowitem] (=3 khorium bar + 1 primal fire)
With this repairbot, it will charge normal price (not inflated) and sell reagents as well (and possibly ammo, don't know yet).  These mats will make a bot with 5 uses.

[wowitem]Adamantite Shell Machine[/wowitem] = 1 Adamantite Bar + 2 Elemental Blasting Powders (=1 fire mote and 2 earth motes)

[wowitem]Adamantite Arrow Maker[/wowitem] = 1 Adamantite Bar + 2 Fel Iron Bolts or Bars

Bars can be substituted with twice their amount in Ore if that's easier/cheaper.
No matter how often you refill the gene pool, there's always a shallow end.

Air

I'd like to hit you up for the arrows, I think I have mats for 6 or so of the arrow makers.

Gutboy

#11
Gutboy has maxed out (8)) engineering (on the Voctovian BS/Eng "Gold, what gold?" plan). I'll update this post with any useful things I learn, such as:

[item]Ornate Khorium Rifle[/item]

Update: Here's my progress on the BOP Schematics:

[item]Adamantite Arrow Maker[/item] - check
[item]Field Repair Bot 110G[/item] - check
[item]Khorium Scope[/item] - check
[item]Hyper-Vision Goggles[/item] - check
Felsteel Boomstick - still looking

not likely to ever get the scope off Attumen...  >:(

WOTLK Items TBD

Kajunladys engineering craftables list  that i remember
[item]ornate Khorium Rifle[/item]

[item]Field Repair Bot 110G[/item]

[item]Adamantite shell machine[/item]

[item]Mana Potion Injector[/item]

Thats all i can remember atm

[item]Adamantite Shell Machine[/item]

[item]Khorium Scope[/item]

[item]Stabilized Eternium Scope[/item]:
2 [item]Hardened Adamantite Tube[/item] = 60 [item]Adamantite Bar[/item]

2 [item]Star of Elune[/item]

[item]Mana Potion Injector[/item]

[item]Healing Potion Injector[/item]

Kothnok

Many of our engineers can now make two useful items (including my mage, Marnok):

[wowitem]Hammer Pick[/wowitem] = 5 cobalt bars (which is 5 ore)
[wowitem]Bladed Pickaxe[/wowitem] = 5 cobalt bars (5 ore)

Stumbled upon this in WoWhead, I wonder if it exists in game at all: Wormhole To Gadgestan

Some items to look forward to once skill and recipes become available:
[wowitem]Global Thermal Sapper Charge[/wowitem]
[wowitem]MOLL-E[/wowitem]
[wowitem]Gnomish Army Knife[/wowitem]
[wowitem]Red Smoke Flare[/wowitem]
[wowitem]Scrapbot Construction Kit[/wowitem]
