How can I post what recipies I know I have when I can't remember the exact name when I'm not ingame???

Glad you asked!  Download the WL_RecipeBox addon from here:
http://www.curse-gaming.com/en/wow/addons-1619-1-wl_recipebox.html

Once installed, you will have a button added below your tradeskill windows called "Add to RecipieBox".
Click the button, wait for it to tell you it's safe to close the window and then exit WoW.

If you now browse your hard drive for a file called "WL_RecipeBox" (or WL_RecipeBox.lua for those geeks like me that don't like to hide extensions), it should be in your "C:\<blah>\WorldOfWarcraft\WTF\Account\<your account name>\SavedVariables" folder.

Open that file up in Notepad (double-clicking it may ask you to pick a program to open it) and look for your character's name.  For each of your tradeskills that you pressed "Add to RecipieBox" for that character, you'll see all the recipies they knew at the time you pressed the button listed there.  Now you can just copy/paste the names from here into the Forum or wherever! :)

Personally, I use a free program called SciTE to view WL_RecipeBox.lua as instead of just being a text editor like notepad (http://www.scintilla.org).  It adds these nifty + and - buttons to the left side so you can expand/collapse parts of the file to easily find what you're looking for.  Don't want to see your tailoring recipies?  Click the - next to the ["Tailoring"] line and poof! all the tailor recipies are hidden.  It's been really handy when writing the PHP necessary to read these *.lua files in order for the Guild Bank pages to work.
No matter how often you refill the gene pool, there's always a shallow end.
