Anyone knows if it's ok to use the add-on quest helper?

What addon quest helper?  I use one that formats the window a bit differently and also gives summary information.
No matter how often you refill the gene pool, there's always a shallow end.

I use it.... don't know if that makes it "okay", but I like it :)

i use it to and its a big time saver and big help imo just if its in a place where it has different floors makes it harder to find where you need to go

The quest portion of Cartographer works okay for me. Not sure what specifically you are looking for in features.
