I can't fully explain just how much I love my job, but I'll let this video try and do a little bit of it for me.

Target rented out the full southern face of the Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking District of NYC to do a fashion show that would be seen for blocks around. Each of the 156 rooms had two LED units in them; one PAR for backlight and the other snugged up against the window to illuminate the dancers with a "blaze" of color. (Bad pun, sorry, the front units are called ColorBlazes) I was a part of the crew that installed the lighting units. There was a lotta cable. A LOT of cable.

I really wish I could've seen the show from the front (I was stationed on the SL side of the 11th floor during the show itself in case anything should go wrong),  or that Target would release an "Official" video... this guy's videographer skills leave something to be desired :S
