Configuration with the new Bigwigs is a little different though a lot easier now via the Interface section of the game.

Some things by default are enabled, and for some its a good idea to adjust these settings depending on your play style.

The Red box shows the Blizzard warnings option. This by default is turned off which means some of the Blizzard raid warnings you see like in ToC on the Twins where it tells you what color buff to swap to is hidden. This isnt such a good idea for most people, so checking the box will show these alerts again.

The Green box shows options specific to Raid/Group leaders. If you dont plan to lead groups or raids, you can uncheck all these options without impacting the alerts. If you do decide to lead groups or raids, you should look at enabling these again as they will also impact the behavior of Littlewigs for 5-man instance alerts.

BigWigs "Super Emphasize" Option

For those people who are somewhat blind, prone to becoming fixated on DPSing, someone oblivious to happenings around them, etc, Bigwigs has an option to emphasize different aspects of encounters. This means you can set it to just shy of reach a hand out of your screen and slap you to attention with a few simple steps.

First, set what you want BigWigs to do for you when you have a boss alert you want it to emphasize. There are a few options available, including flashing your screen. In the BigWigs configuration screen, select the "Super Emphasize" option screen as shown below:

After you are finished selecting what you want it to do, go down under the "BigWigs Encounters" listing and search for the boss where there is an ability you want to emphasize when it takes place.

You simply have to click the instance name where the boss is located (shown in Red), then find the boss you are looking for in that instance on the drop down menu (shown in green), and click on the double arrow button next to the ability you want to emphasize highlighted in Yellow.

Under the Advanced Options tab shown, click on the "Emphasize" check box to enable BigWigs to virtually smack you upside the head any time this boss ability takes place.

Once finished with your setting changes, make sure you click "Okay" at the bottom right corner to save the changes.
