There used to be an option to turn off the "fuzzy screen" look when you were drunk or the heavy glow effect when dead.
Since blizz removed the UI for it, you can only type in the command

Code Select

/console ffxglow 0
to turn it off

Code Select

/console ffxglow 1
to turn it back on
