Just a heads up, if you have an Android phone or tablet or iPhone/iPad you can now have access to the Auction House and Guild Chat without having to pay the previously charged monthly $2.99.
As of 8/23/12 Blizzard has made access to these features within the app free to WoW players so long as your account subscription is active.

I opened my Blizzard app for the first time in ages today, logged into Wow and had a nice little chat with myself.
