For any other spellcasters that use this one, I just noticed today they changed the requirements from "requires 2 blue gems" to "requires more blue gems than red gems". I've been running around with no meta since the patch.

Blizzard acknowledged this will be fixed in a future patch since DPS classes, caster and melee, prioritize red gems over blue gems. Bad news is that it requires a patch to fix rather than hotfix.
