hey guys...i am using a docked laptop connected to a second monitor at work...typically at the end of the day, i just close the laptop and leave it docked...

when i open it back up in the morning, i am having to reset my dual monitor setup EVERYTIME which is annoying...attached are a pic of my overall setup, and the monitor setup screen...anyone know of a way to set this so i dont have to do this every day?

I take it you are using windows xp?
Have you downloaded the latest video card driver from manf website?
Have you tried this @ lunch? Does it do it after one Hour?
Do you have this directly plugged into walll.?
Is your lappy going into suspend mode when you close the lid?
If you go into power management under control panel you can stopo it from doing that and see if that makes a difference....just set it to do nothng for tonight!

Im running Windows XP here...graphics card driver is updated....it does go into light sleep mode when im away for a bit, but that never affects the dual screen setup - its only when i snap the lid shut does it do this...it is going into suspended mode, but i cant find a setting toggle to turn that off...any ideas?

thanks again! you may take a sunflower seed from my stash...

Ok
Click Start>Settings>Control Panel>Power Options

Click on the second Tab, Which should be "Advanced"
Under that tab it should list what to do when you close your lid...
Put Do nothing and see how it goes in the morning
