Title: Priest 2.1 Changes

A compilation from the WoW Priest Board:

- Fixed a bug that allowed offensive spells to be cast while in a party or raid.
- Fixed a bug affecting Renew not breaking on damage.
- Holy concentration was deemed to be a "potentially useful" talent so was reduced to 1 point, buffed to a 10% proc, moved to tier 2 talents, and given to druids.
- Fixed a long standing bug where a priests 6.32% chance to dodge sometimes caused other classes to miss them in melee combat.
- Flash Heal will now require a Sacred Candle.
- Mind vision will now auto-cast the second a hunter hits you with silence shot so you can see how much fun it is to kill you.
- Fixed a bug that prevented Mana Potions from being resisted.
- Hotbars removed from priest UI. This change made to alleviate the "whack-a-mole" style of gameplay that priests were complaining about. Priests will now use the spellbook to cast spells, as this fits more with the "spirit" of the game.
- Light feathers are only attainable as drops from Ragnaros.
- Sacred candles are now only attainable through a series of repeatable quests culminating with the defeat of C'Thun. 1 Candle is rewarded per successful completion of the chain.
- Holyform: disables 3D graphics but provides a convenient spreadsheet-like display of health bars.
- Priests' ghosts who are waiting at the graveyard to be resurrected are now dispellable. This will place them at the character selection screen where they can make a warlock or a paladin.
- Fixed a bug that allowed Priests to heal. We felt this trivialized several encounters, and have removed the ability from the game. Priests, as revealed by the 41 point Discipline talent, are now a "glass tank" class.

LOL emma... sad but true.

Think that priests got the short end of the stick in this patch... hopefully they will balance that in the next one.  :-\

LOL!  That's a funny list.  I especially like the flash healing requiring a sacred candle per cast, and the one about the hunter attacking you and you automatically mind sighting to see how fun it is to kill you.  Too funny!!!

I agree. Priests got worse nerfs than rogues. It used to be a pain to take one out, but now, they go down in seconds. Even shadow priests. I hope they balance you guys back out come the next patch or in TBC.  :leglamp:
