Since I'm at work doing...well, nothing (I tutor, nobody is here now) i've been reading all the BC stuff i can, planning my warlock skills and whatnot...

i'm leaning toward: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/bc-warlock/talents.html?0500220000000000000000050000000000000000000505000512200513531351

or 9/5/47 which i think qualifies as a "destruction heavy" build the only thing i think i'm missing is nightfall which is just a hop+skip away (17/0/44)...anyways...

discuss?

Very similar to what I was thinking for Rhyn..

Is nightfall that important?  And/or demonic embrace?

Here's what I'm looking at..

nightfall is nice for those instant shadowbolts, but it's unreliable (4% chance to proc) so you up your DPS for a little bit, but you pay for it in mana as you try to sustain that dps (so, it's good for pvp when you just need that last shot for a kill but not as good for the sustained fights in PvE)  Demonic embrace just means more HP for us.  We (as warlocks) don't depend on spirit all that much since it only kicks in approx 5 secs after we finish casting a spell (rarely have that much downtime between shadow bolt spam) and we have life tap, so the loss of the spirit is a marginal loss at best (imo).

your build does look very good for sustained dps (Raiding).. you have DoTs doing more dmg along with the potential healing from the 30% proc of 20% hp returned...it could be interesting to try...personally, i like big numbers, i was thrilled when i had a shadowbolt hit for 2400+ earlier this week and love to watch someone nearly die from a good SB...that's why i took conflag and that jazz...
