I stumbled accross this site in my work stupedfied state this morning...

This site lists player rankings based on stats - what warlock has the most +Spell hit, what druid has the most AP, etc etc

You can select various options like if you want to included hordies or other people on the battlegroup, or just our server, or etc etc..

Its a neat tool - if anything its a fun diversion, but it might be helpful to see what other people of your spec have stat wise in comparison. One warning though is that this is based on armory data, which can be skewed a lot by someone logging out with raid buffs / flasks, or in a different outfit etc etc. For example I am shown as the druid with the most STA / health server...i thiknk that number is inflated, BUT even with the actual number (per my armory profile now which has no buffs on it at all) im still the highest so thats kind of neat :)

Here is my STA rankings for example:

#2 pally in AP and crit % on the server! 304 on US servers though

http://gankbang.com/stats.php?wc=Paladin&s=attackpower&realm=Alexstrasza&bg=all&faction=both&h=true&loc=US&build=Retribution&guild=&l=70

The #1 ap and #1 crit people are different people too. And one of em isn't even hit capped... sad

Vengeance

I dont think im there, lol
Thanks for the site!

Silly question... according to my armory profile I have +12.18% to hit (wayyyyyyyyyy over the hitcap... still have gear that needs regemming >.>):

Yea that sight by no means an authoritative list, all be it about as accurate as is reasonable. It most likely just does a scan of the WoW Armory every so often (can't even guess at how often though) and posts the results, I noticed that all the results were unbuffed amounts and many of them are not accurate at that since gear can change so fast as well as spec. I checked it for the prot pally with most HP, clicked the #1 person, and they are now holy spec.
People also log out in different gear (depending on if the last thing they were doing was PvP/PvE/Soloing etc...). I typically am logged out in Soloing gear for example, so my stats for melee hit and AP will be lower and my mana will be higher than normal (tough to farm with an empty blue rage bar) or a holy pally will have a 2h and more spell damage gear than their pure healing gear.

Back in my EQ days there was a site that we make accounts and created the profiles for your character, depending on the gear you wanted / had.  You updated it, not automatically checked.

None of my characters are listed.  Oh well.

EDIT:
It only listed 2 priests for Twilight (while searching only Twilight guild): Astrania and Killapreest.

Sounds like it's not finding many chars at all.  How accurate can it be?
No matter how often you refill the gene pool, there's always a shallow end.

you have to request that it update your profile or add your char from that link on the main page...then you can rerun the queury and youll pop up..

which defintiely brings in to question its accuracy since its probably missing a bunch of people who havent added themselves to the list or what have you lol

its still interesting...its an armory based tool - all of them have some deep flaws, so take it for what it is...

here is some info on why you may or may not be on there:

It looks like this guy hand picks some stats and updates the top 1000-1500 for that stat, so if your below that you will have to manually enter your char i think...

Magelo.
Most people think Marv is crazy. He just had the rotten luck of being born in the wrong century. He'd be right at home on some ancient battlefield swinging an axe into somebody's face.
