Title: EARTHQUAKE
Post by: Raif on June 23, 2010, 01:51:19 PM
5.5 hit somewhere near the Ottawa and Montreal boarder. I heard it was felt in Pennsylvania as well though.

Did you feel it?

I was downtown toronto, working at UofT. The building was evacuated but i didn't even feel it.

Haven't felt anything in Michigan, although some people in the Detroit area claim to have felt something.

I'm in a suburb of Detroit, and didn't feel anything. Odd for an earthquake to be on this side for once.

I felt it!, i live in the small town of welland ontario, near the niagara falls/buffalo border. It was great. I was eating sushi at this restaurant. blew my mind. I wanted to dig a hole into the earth so i could go deeper and feel it even more, you know what I mean?

I felt it, was at work minding my own business. I thought I was a little dizzy or something, was an odd feeling.

It said 5.5 earlier but it's now listed as 5.0....

I was working a few towns over and didn't feel it, but the city of Hackensack evacuated their municipal building and several other buildings because people had felt the ground shake.

Im in Peterborough, which is fairly close to Ottawa, and never felt it..odd.

This region is considered the precambrian shield and rarely, rarely has earthquakes.  Since we got one, watch out...the world is coming to an end :P
