Plan on being a DPS shaman with duel wield for steady dps for pve, and 2h for burst pvp damage. I prob will keep this build and wont go resto unless we're hard pressed for healers.
I know shadow has a shaman, and I'd like to hear her thoughts on this build, and of course anyone else that has thoughts speak freely. I've done a fair ammount of research via Allakhazam and Wow fourms and I think this will fit me the best. After having a Healidin I'd like to try to spec dps on a hybrid class.
No love for the Shamans?
Not from me, lol. I kill 'em as I see 'em.
+5% dodge talent will give you more dmg mitigation than +10% armor.
Also, imp ghost wolf was always a big favorite of mine in pvp... Things go south, 1 sec cast into ghost wolf, run away. Granted, it was on a pvp server, so it was mainly a big help in avoiding gank squads.
Other than that it looks workable.
The +5 Dodge would be a good asset in pve, in pve it could mean Overpower crits me in the face for 2k. I've seen it happen on my rogue, and I've done it on my warrior. As far as the 10% armor, I'll prob drop 3 of those points for mental quickness.
True about the overpower crits in pvp... but hopefully you'll be kiting warriors with earthbind, frost shock, and such and they won't get in melee range ;)
omg FROST SHOCK!!!
yes, i always go for the shammys...specially the epic ones, even if it costs me my life (30% increase speed w00t)
