im serious....place i got it for claims its real but imo how in the world can that really happen?

It's most very likely real. In a lot of the places with good surf, the seabed or coast is shaped so that the water drains into the oncoming waves, creating monsters. Right before tsunamis, almost all of the water in the harbor/beach/etc. of the area about to be struck drains away momentarily.
Yeah, that could be real. It looks a lot cleaner than most waves that are actually that size though so it may be touched up. Just look up other pictures of teahupoo and you'll see a lot that look like that :c)
thats crazy....does everyone nearby get sucked down or something?
looks real
What are they all looking at?
These look pretty cool too http://www.harkvideos.com/arctic.htm

Those things are crazy... they'll literally pull someone miles out to sea, even when they swim their best agaist it (which you shouldn't do, btw).
