Title: ZG 2/6
Post by: Tankgrl on February 06, 2007, 12:17:26 AM
Thank you everyone for the awesome run.

That was the first time I was present during the downing of Hakkar. Everyone pulled together and played their parts well. It was nice to raid with some of the newer faces and get to know everyone's style a little better.

Also, great job leading Uso!

defintely a great experience guys...it was really fun to flex our muscles....again, im really sorry for being so late...when i went to log on, first my ouse wouldnt work...so i replaced my usb mouse with a regular mouse and rebooted...then my computer wouldnt start up...finally i got it to start, and i deleted lootroller and did a viurs scan, which came up with 80 viruses on my comp...THEN i couldnt connect to the internet becuase somehow my ethernet hardware got deletd from my system...i reset that up, had to call AT & T to get my password for DSL login, and FINALLY was able to log on...

uso did a PHENOMENAL job leading it....that was awesome man...thanks for the great run

Ill zip up and upload my version of Lootroller then. Someone must have corrupted the file hosted on curse or something. Mine works, but it makes TitanRoll complain so you should disable that before using it to spare yourself some annoying errors.

That definitely was a fun run last night, looks like we have become quite powerful afterall.  Thanks for the compliments:) it sure was easy to lead with a great group of talented people who know what they are doing.  I'm glad everyone stuck it out last night until the end - even though we were all probably exhausted, it was a great accomplishment to do a full ZG run in one night.  Great job everyone.

That was a fun and good run, ty. Almost didnt make it, was stuck out of state on business yesterday longer than I expected to be. I think I surpassed Arc as more of a danger on the roadways then his typing while driving.

"OMG ZG Officer!"

haha

Actually, thats an old pic, I was a model citizen and obeyed the posted speed limits. Anyone want to buy a bridge?

Whoa, ZG's not that special, hon.  Unless you live in Wyoming, you musta been about 50-60 MPH over the limit.

That was taken headed through Death Valley by my friend with me in CA/NV almost 2yrs ago. Sadly...im crazy enough to have pushed it much much faster, tho I wouldnt let her lean over and take a snapshot of the speedo.

Things not to do when riding with Shadowwolf:

I want to go for a ride with Shadow;)

I remember I drove from Indio, CA to Phoenix in about 2.5 hours when I was younger. The I-10 in that stretch has a really low speed limit and lots of Aircraft speed traps so it wasn't the smartest thing.  I think I had it bouncing off the rev-limiter at 115mph most the time, luckily I wasn't able to afford the higher top speed yet:)

Things to do before I die:
Ask shadow how fast this thing can go on a open stretch of road with no cops around. ;D

OMG I want to go to coachella this year! RATM is back baby! but of course I live on the other side of the freaking county!  :'( They were my favorite band for years was a sad day when they broke up and now to know there playing one show and I cant see it stinks.

hahaha, no arc, that was a few years ago when I tried to push my way up front for the Pixies reunion at Coachella.  110 degree heat + no gatorade + 75,000 people = heat exhaustion FTL.  I had to sit on the ground in the crowd and listen when Radiohead came on becuase I couldn't physically stand up.

that wont be the last time kitty...we still have a lot of old content to experience and enjoy...if last night proved anything, its that you can have a great time blowing through the old content with very little risk of death, but at the same time do things you repviously couldnt (like killing hakkar for myself)...

just wait until we knock on kel'thuzud's door...

All of this talk about fast driving reminds me of a Christmas ad.
Doug Foley's school of racing - where you can buy that special man in your life actual race time driving a formula one race car. I say why should it just be for men??
So Shadow & Caedyrne - I'll met you at the track!  :-*

Hehe, I used to go to the track out in CA called Willowsprings all the time. I thought it much better then getting ticket after ticket on the freeways, haha.

I gotta dig up my helmet somewhere, I threw it in the garage when I moved because all the tracks out here require you to be in a car club of some sort to use them and only when the club rents it out. Kinda bleh =(

I might consider it soon tho, the GT2 is collecting a lot of dust and I cant stretch the S4 like I used to on CA freeways on Jersey highways. Audi just sent me some info on the up and coming R8 and O..M..G...

the only thing i need in a car is for it to work....other then that i dont know jack squat about specs and whatnot. It amazes me sometimes how some companies pride themselves so damn much about some new model of a car but they are too stupid to program in a thing that turns off the headlights for you if u forgot to turn them off. A few days ago I drove to the train station and after i got in the train im like omg i think i left my headlights on. The next train heading back wouldnt have come for a long ass time so i just went on for the rest of the day worrying like mad that i'd come back to a dead battery. Thankfully in the end i did turn it off but it ticks me off thinking that u spend thousands of dollars and they can't spend 5 minutes putting in something so simple. I know there are plenty o' cars out there that take care of that and u can rig ones that don't have it but its funny how like they thought to have my car make noise if i leave the lights on but not have em turn off ;p

yeah i just read an article about the R8.  for only (yes, only) $100,000 that is an amazing piece of automotive machinery (plus it looks sexy ]:D).  guess i need to start saving for it, just like my flying mount...

Quote“Licence.” Pause. “Passport.” Pause. “That is the most goddam beautiful car I have ever seen, sir. It would be a shame to find it on its roof. Do we understand each other? Good. Have a nice day.”

Haha, love it. I remember getting the same type of speech from a Nevada trooper when I participated in a Cannonball Run to Vegas a few years back. Probably the same guy too, lol.

"Ma'am, this is a really nice vehicle you have here and it would be a shame to see it upside down in the desert with you in it. Please take it easy on the speed, I dont want to have to take you in for your own safety."

It is really easy to flip over out there too, those gusts of winds can come blowing across without any warning at great speeds and just pick you up and toss you like a piece of paper.

I used to drive an old, battered Mustang.  Those start to lift off around 100 MPH.
