For wasting my time today, but allowing me to sleep in. I get there to check in the hospital for my surgery and the desk sergeant tells me my appointment has been changed to March 15th. Geez. Hungry. Need coffee. A coke. Something. So now I am at home about to change and go to work.
Surgery didn't happen today.
Military hospitals may not be perfect, but I have to say I got spoiled by them. Being able to go to one place that has all the doctors, records, drugs and anything else you need and walking out the door without paying a dime was amazing and I miss it. Now I have to go to ghetto clinics in strip malls before even getting to a hospital.
You could be permanently injured from being one of Uncle Sam's Misguided Children and get all that stuff long after you retire from active duty =)
Tho I wouldnt recommend doing that if thats all youre looking for is free healthcare. There isnt a day of cold or bad weather that I dont ache like an 80 yr old woman. I now realize why Florida is the retirement capital of the US. =(
to hell with Florida, retire in Australia!!!! :Aussie_Flag: ;D
