I actually am going to reuse a strategy I developed for my mother on the maiden of virtue. When my mom would nag me about "outstadning morals" blah blah blah "clean your room" blah blah blah.. I would phase her out and blankly stare at her, becoming immune to any nagging.

Since the maiden of virtue seems to need to curb my "impure thoughts" I am going to apply the same tactic to her! verbal stoneform!

the only issue we had was the lack of cleansing. 2 people can't really do that much

locks can get there puppy out and cleanse once or twice (if the fight lasts that long) with it.  Also the lock can equip a spell stone and cleanse himself.  I suggest people read WoWwikki.  There is a bit of info for each class on this boss.

is the problem a curse, or a disease/magic affect/poisin?

This will be a tough fight for us.  The key issue is having enough people who can dispell/cleanse the debuffs.  I would think that one pally, using blessing of sacrifice, can cleanse the repentance debuff off the two other cleansers, while continuing to heal the tank/melee.  However, we definitely need at least two people to cleanse/mass dispell the holy fire and repentance debuffs.  I dont think that our group makeup last time would allow this... we need either another healer or a mage/druid/etc to clear the debuffs.  The key issue is range, you cannot dispell someone at a pillar opposite.  We need to coordinate to make sure that everyone is in range.

so tonight we have two druids and one pally so far...for the maiden, I dont think we need two tanks, so for that fight I can either go on cleansing duty or add some DPS...

we still have one spot left too :) I think we can make this a long night if were willing becuase we have people who can sub in for those who want to leave early (voc, kaid, lynette)

Im sure this has been mentioned above...but have we thought of using blessing of sacrifice on the MT? this would split the damage taken with the pally and snap him out of repentence the first time the tank got hit...

So from what I'm seeing, the paladin is basically saving mana for healing only during the aoe repentance, right? That way the pally has plenty of mana to just spam heal the MT until the rest of the raid is awake again.

You know, I really think this is doable for us--we got pretty beat up last night running it, but I think we can do it next time. :)
