Ive been talking to a lot of different people, and some have suggested that KTM isnt always the best threat meter for the job under certain situations. A good amount of people use one called Omen which is an Ace2 mod. Ive been toying with it for about a week now and I kind of like it better than KTM. It has optional visual onscreen warnings when you creep up on threat, plus it communicates with other KTM users, and it also seems to be a little more accurate as well with abilities and whatnot.

It looks just like KTM and it has a minimap Icon for configuring its options. For anyone wanting to try it, I thought I would provide the info for you. =)

I've been using it for about month or more now, It's really good. For one thing there's no need to set the threat target like KTM. Instead, omen keeps track of all the mobs in the area, so when a person targets a mob. That person will see the threat for that mob.
There's also a way to "pull" out your character name or other player names to keep track of them I think. Haven't played around with it to much.

The author of mod post updates here, name is Aspir. Thread gives a pretty good update on current updates on the mod. It's a long read though, so be careful ;)
There's still some issues with some bosses, like Void Reaver. But mostly the newer stuff in Black Temple. I've heard a greal deal of high end raiding guilds have moved over to using this. Im almost certain Invictus has made this a requirement now.
