They are restricting wood burning fireplaces this winter. :pumpk2:
Nevermind the fact that just 10 miles north they burn entire acres of the fall rice crops. No way can those possibly cause health problems. Lets instead restrict the dozen or so people that actually use their fireplaces to roast marshmallows (only got cold enough to freeze water here once in the past 30 years).
I'm sure wood-burning fireplaces account for a large percentage of california's air pollution. Props to them for focusing on this and not silly things like car emissions.
