I saw this on FoX News yesterday and was disgusted.  This old guy gets crushed by a car on a busy street in front of pedestrians and what happens?  No one does a thing.  Cars drive around him lying on the street and pedestrians keep walking - guess everyone is too busy to offer help.
Just sick.

Can you really be a good person if you don't act?

Thanks Tris- sad story but sometimes true.
On a more positive  side- many people have been saved from death by good people they didn't know. I driving around looking for a park at the local  shopping centre a few weeks ago and an old man slumped forward (suspected stroke) in his parked car nearby. When I arrived, a lady was trying to drag him out of the car and immediately a few others (including myself) joined. Another person called the ambulance and I helped with first aid. Within 10 minutes an ambulance arrived, directed into the car park by another bystander. I think he will be ok.
And 25 years ago, when I was just a school gal, I witnessed a murder again in a shopping centre - and the shopkeepers and bystanders helped this guy till he died.
