Title: Getting the farmers work for you.
Post by: magnetite on October 09, 2006, 08:12:00 PM
Back when I used to be okay at alchemy I used to spend hours running around gathering mats (herbs and other things), but if you find a recipe that works, you can buy all the mats for the potions or whatever you do and still make a profit. I think this will only work with rare recipes (ones not taught by trainers). One of mine I had to get it to drop in order to make my profits. Now I can make twice the profit with half the work. Maybe there's something there for all of us. Just wanted to say this is possible.

You mean skin their kills before they get to them?

I like to use my ranged to tag the mob, have the bot kill it for me, and then I skin the kill.

I've done this a bunch.  But I think I have a lot of Chinese farmers really pissed off at me because after about 5 minutes someone actually takes control of the character and follows me around.  :)  Maybe I'm black-listed by commies. :Franken:

I'm a rogue.  When they follow me around, it's aggro dump time for one dead farmer!
