Dual speccing costs 1000g to learn on the PTR.

I'm pretty sure I spent that yesterday alone in respec's. Thanks for the tip Nas, it's time to start farming some ore...
Haha, as easily as huge sums are forming and changing hands since WotLK, they might as well have made it 5k or 10k at least.. then it'd be a challenge. :D
1k is about what I spend each week on respecs and reglyphs.. it'll be nice to finally patch that leak though.
yeah....time to cash in my stash of frozen orbs lol
..course....we now have rune orbs or whatever to pay for too....
Ongoing compilation of changes can be found at:

Terrific..another 1000g just to use something I've been using before..but this time in Northrend (and yes I know everywhere else too).
Honestly, I would'v ebeen more inclined to spend 1k g on THIS than on flying mount training..who cares if it's cold? When I summon my hippgryph..he better fly..
I agree Bourne..
But rule #1 of Blizz expansion design seems to be slow down travel to make it a grind like everything else.
#@$&
on a side note - they are putting a bunch of new patterns into the mix - and the itemization looks a lot better than past WOTLK items have had, IE for rogues and druids more +hit, +crit, and +ap, and less +haste and +armor pen...
wonder where these runed orbs come from....probably going to be the WOTLK equiv of [item]Heart of Darkness[/item] and such
TONS of new mounts too - including a ridable gnome's head (lol), and a water only mount....
probably not hearts of darkness, its going to be like the orbs from SSC/TK if you remember thoes for the epic boots and belts (that they are adding again :DDDD)
anyone also taken a look at the legendary mace that you get to make from ulduar? its going to be like aetish, 40 pieces and an epic quest
I wouldn't mind getting ahold of a Minirons head...... 8)
i would mind riding on a tauren......not even a tauren head....just a tauren =)
there are some interesting screenshots I could get with one of those gnome heads though hehehehe ]:D
OH GOD MY EYES!
/flee
i like the t8 druid set...
...except for the headpiece....could rank as maybe the worst behind the wildheart cowl....maybe....or that lame T5 crown...
Id like to see a big "L" on our forehead instead of a moon...

Aw, man =( I was all excited to finally have a helm that didn't make me look like a retarded demon-goat, too, with my 7.5 one.
/sigh, back to turning off helms in the UI.
this mob makes me want to grab a net and do some jelly fishing....

Please tell me that is a joke! A moon?
mmmk yeah.. gonnahold on to my t7 helm until t9 content... :-[
How about the model of the toon wearing the t8....
It's a human.....
they always do that initially leafs...its how most tiered stes get previewed...
on a side note - there is almost a marijuana leaf on the very base of the skirt - maybe druids are REALLY embracing their natural roots =)
EDIT: updated pic HERE: http://static.mmo-champion.com/mmoc/images/news/2009/february/druid_tier8_male.jpg
they took away the leaf....but we arent wearing a dress anymore! yes!
Looking at the new version, I've one thing to say:

I mean, seriously. You'd better lay off me, Arc - now you'll have your own pair of boobs to stare at!
LOLOL
yes!
just TRY and guess which model will be the feral druid (......and hunter i guess :P) stave

Here is some GOOD news about dual spec:
QuoteYesterday there were a few blue posts by Zarhym that detailed changes to the Dual Spec System from when it was originally announced. Here are the changes.
* Level requirement has been lowered to 40.
* Reagent requirement (Lexicon of Power) has been removed!
* Cooldown has been removed, though you cannot swap specs in combat, or in Arenas/Battlegrounds.
Quote from: Zarhym (Blue from US forum)
You literally just click a button, and after a 5 second cast, your specializations, glyphs, and action bars swap. You must be out of combat, and it still cannot be used in battlegrounds or arenas. There is currently no cooldown on the ability to swap specializations though.
Yes, the feature is available to level 40 or higher characters. I believe this change is live on the PTR now, but am not sure off-hand what build the change was made in, and whether or not that is the build that's live.
I have tested on a level 80 character though on the PTR to confirm that the lexicon is not needed and the swap can be done from anywhere.
How do talent-specific cooldowns (like Arcane Power) work when you swap specs?
The cooldowns will remain and continue counting down, even if you flip specializations back and forth.
