ZG Summoned Bosses - Renataki

Renataki is considered to be one of the easiest bosses in ZG let alone the summoned group. Renataki is a rogue and as such his abilities are:

• Gouge - Gouges up to 10 party members and attacks someone that isn't gouged
• Throw Dagger - Throws a Dagger to party members, hits for around 1000 damage on cloth users
• Vanish - Makes Renataki invisible. Hunter's Mark or Faerie Fire will not work
• Ambush - Ambushes a random target. Cloth users can get killed in 1 hit as he hits for 3.5-5k damage

Best strategy for Renataki is to mass DPS him. He likes to occasionally gouge the Main Tank and all melee around him and will charge someone who wasnt affected. Gouge wears off relatively quickly so the Tank can run him down and regain aggro. Its best to keep the party in one area so that when Renataki charges the Tank doesnt need to run all over to catch him. During the fight he will also Vanish and try to Ambush a raid member, it is possible to counter this by using massive AOE spells in the area which will un-stealth him which is another reason to keep the party in one general area so that AOE can be contained in a small section.

At 50% he will enrage and his damage done as well as attack speed will increase so it is best to keep on top of heals as much as possible.

Renataki drops his tooth [wowitem]19940[/wowitem] each class needs for the ZG Epic Trinket quest if they have a voodoo doll.

His loot table consists of:
[wowitem]19963[/wowitem] (if you think this is worthless, its not as it will be VERY useful in the Burning Crusade Expansion on Hellfire Peninsula. Its also excellent for hunters in doing the epic Bow and Staff quest.)
