Forum How-to: Posting Videos

I noticed a lot of mis-posts of people trying to share Youtube videos here on the forum and getting the dreaded #INVALID YOUTUBE VIDEO#.

The forum is kinda particular about how you post the links to the videos, but its actually not that bad. The easiest way is to simply post the exact link in the title bar to your forum post message like so:

Copy the link from the address bar in your browser:

[attachimg=1]

Paste it in the message box of the forum:

[attachimg=2]

This direct link posting works with a lot of different video sites like Vimeo, Hulu, etc etc. Just post the full link and the forum does the rest.

DO NOT use the "Embed" link or the short URL for these unless its using the Twilight Link Chopper URL because then it causes problems. The embed link is a whole different thing and doesnt play nicely with the forum.
