My 1st apartment was behind the school where they shot the famous "tongue" scene. Most of the film was shot in and around St Catharines Ontario.(painted to look like Chicago)

I had to trick Panzer into watching that movie last Christmas... he'd never seen it before and refused to watch it.

I guess they didn't actually film much of that movie in Chicago- the Higbees department store scene and the parts with the old cars driving around were filmed in Cleveland. The house the movie was filmed in is also in Cleveland.
