addon trouble

after the last patch ,where it was messing up everyones mods,my son was told to delete the wtf file and it would fix it ,but he still doesnt have the addon button when he logs on.was this a mistake,or is there another way to fix it?

i think in the World of Warcraft folder in program files theres a reset or restore thing. try running it. I know a few people on here have used it to fix some issues.

remove the interface folder too, if there is still a problem run the repair utility in your main WoW folder and it will recover those folders with the default stuff in them.
