that in the state of La at the DMV if you are just insured and not listed as an actual driver you cant get your lience?

yep i dont drive legal and havent for some time now ( but i dont go to far never have) i at one point did have one but thats a way to long story to tell. but i got in trouble with my driving as a kid and have been paying for it as an adult, well i went today to finally get my new one and had to retake everything passed the written/computer part and had to take the driving part but forgot a few things so had to run home and then back hen it was there lunch time so had to leave and comeback again . well finally i get up there and asked who would i be driving with today ( tring to get the ladies up there to smile haha didnt work) they said noone cause my insurance didnt list me as a driver... now i went to the superviser  and pretty much asked wtf..  nope still didnt work.. so now i have to beg my insurace comp. to put me as a listed driver without a lience with out huby around to do so ( forgetting PoA bad idea ) or find someone who  will let me use there car to retake my dang test...... >:( grrr what happened to takeing the test hoping in a car and going ??????

I hope you get that straightened out Kaj.  The PoA should help and I know what you're going through.  By the way, if you carry your DMV appointment receipt around, you can show it to the cops should they stop you and be kind enough to let you go if you're ever stopped.
