Yep it's true, alliance can get the Kodo mount, I guess blizz decided to let us have it too probably since horde got the brewfest ram last year.  It also appears that you can't buy the brewfest ram this year... the Kodo is a drop from the new boss in BRD before we logged out this morning cy and I saw about 5 or 6 of them so drop rate can't be too shabby either. 

Anyway, gl to all that attempt to get one, they are pretty sweet looking...and the boss is pretty easy imo.
