They don't have to be perfect- you just need to love them and accept them as they are- and vice versa.
And the key to a happy marriage- i believe is COMMUNICATION.
Also love is a decision- not just an emotion- you need to make the decision to work at it.

And I dont think many people go into a marriage thinking that they will end up in divorce- I never dreamed it would happen to me- but sadly it did.

Life does however go on - and you make the most of what you have- one day at a time. 
I wouldn't have those beautiful children - so it's not all bad.
