I was thinking of starting a topic about movie reviews
here is what I thought about some of the new good movies I watched :)

Apocalypto
Directed by Mel Gibson
it's a movie about Indians/ Inkas, you need to read subtittle the whole movie but it's worth it, it shows how they lived and then a story of a great mythic legend or something like that. Although it's a real cool movie but you best watched it alone, need to focus on it and doesn't really attracts large crowds of people.

Dreamgirls
Directed by Bill Condon
Staring Jamie Foxx, Beyonce Knowles, Eddie Murphy and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson!
The movie is about 3 girls trying to become singers and how it ends up, very nice movie! great to see with family, has a lot of dramma and most important very nice songs!

Night at the Museum
Directed by Shawn Levy
Staring Ben Stiller, Robin Williams
It's about a night guard at a museum. very good movie to watch with family specially kids, lots of laughs.

The Departed
Directed by Martin Scorsese
Staring Leonardo Dicaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson and Mark Wahlberg.
Dicaprio plays as an undercover police while Damon plays as cop working with the bad guyz ( have to see the rest) Oscor winner for best movie :) Defently one of the best movies of the year! it's a movie full of twists and has a nice storyline. you got to watch it!

The Illusionist
Directed by Neil Burger
Staring Edward Norton, Paul Giamatti and Jessica Biel
This is one of those movies that takes you away from the beginin of it.  If i was to choice who should win oscor  I couldn't decide between this and Departed.
This movies has a very nice story followed by a vey nicer romantic story, has some nice twists in it.
I'm not gonna talk about the story at all cuz I'm afraid I might ruin it for those of you who havn't watched yet.

hope you guyz find the reviews intersting

The Prestige
Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman
Fantastic movie...curious about how everything worked and happened...Conclusion resulted in a debate over who was the worse person of the two.  Interesting indeed...

movies? new movies? man...I miss those...

our new movies are the ones that are 1.5 years old and creep onto HBO or Cinemax finally :)

But man...this new actor Sidney Portier is AMAZING...and those new fangled haircuts like the affro...I think its going to catch on...and did you guys know they made movies in COLOR now?!?

The Prestige was good. I figured it out before the end so it kind of spoiled it for me but it was good.

Saw The Zodiac this weekend. It is based on some real murders that took place on the West Coast in the 1960's.  It was about 3 hours long and while it wasn't boring it also really didn't have a fulfilling ending. It tracks a newspaper team, police investigation, and the life of a cartoonist from the newspaper who was driven to find out who did the murders and possibly "why" if he could find out. The movie had twists to it, though not like Prestige, and tracked atleast an 8 year investigation into the spree of murders committed by the man who called himself "Zodiac".
