raid icon issue

I've been having some trouble with two things that seem related:

I can't always see ? and ! above questgivers heads, but they do appear on my minimap. Sometimes the symbols appear, sometimes they don't. I haven't been able to see ANY raid target icons above the mob's head, only when I click on them, it shows up on their portrait. Any ideas what is wrong and how I can fix it?

Haven't changed any recently...

Sounds like a corrupt file somewhere in your wtf folder.  Prolly need to rename it (so it resets) then gradually copy over UI settings and such so you don't have to rebuild everything.

It could be another manifestation of the bug I reported here about cursor's disappearing over far away terrain.  Try setting your Terrain Distance down to about 3 (where 1 is lowest) and see if that fixes your problem.
