In an effort to compile a list of where to go at which levels, I posted this thread.  Please add one of your favorite leveling spots and the level it is good for.

First, I have to say that Feathermoon Stronghold in Ferelas is perfect for level 40 and up.  Start with the wolves next to the Stronghold and then start destroying Naga after Naga.  At level 44, I could one hit the  43 Naga Sorceresses on the Isle of Dread, perfect for a quick level!

Raptors in the wetlands, and the quests in Whelgars Exavation Site are good for levelling and skining.

Feathermoon Stronghold got me from 41-46 without ever seeing another person at all. Unless you're an AoE grinding mage, this place rocks. The casting maga might make the AoEing a bit rough. A fury warrior can take the ones a level or two below and never stop to take a rest.

Well, being a pally, grinding WPL and EPL (especially cauldrons) was really fun.  Although I spent way too long recovering mana, the undead there were easy pickings for a pally from 49-60.

Also, the demons around Honor hold were great xp for 60-62.  My only issue was the number of people tagging mobs.  Now that the density of people in HFP is much lower, it would be great to level from probably 58-63.  If you want to eventually get to HH revered or exalted, and dont mind mindless grinding, probably better to run the instances there and grind mobs until you hit honored if possible.

Outland instances seem to offer the highest xp/hour though.  If you can get a balanced group together, you will get the most experience in instances.  This is for 60-69.

I'll have to try Feathermoon.  My grinding in badlands on my 40 priest is exceeding slow.

My favorite spot in the game is in northern redridge. just before the entrance to burning steppes there is a boar... as soon as you kill him he respawns, zero wait time. he's level 18-20 and is perfect for grinding. he has a few spawn points so you may have to run around a little. i wish there were more mobs that respawned like this. make grinding so much easier... i also use him to grind low lvl cooking and skinning.

Voc is right about WPL/EPL for pallies. Sooo much fun.

I never did this, but aparently the ogres in Deadwind pass are good for grinding.

I know this may sound sad to you guys- but I actually enjoyed grinding my way to 60 to get exalted at Timbermaw. Those furry guys were easy and predictable - mining popped up every once in a awhile. I could sell all the drops at a vendor down the road, and I still use the trinket- Defender of the Timbermaw.
;)

I leveled early in all sorts of places with Threl. I really enjoy the bleaker areas for some reason...desert or frozen areas tend to be my favorites from an aesthetic point of view. I also have a blast in the undead-heavy areas (Darkshore, Plaguelands, etc). Yeah, I know, I'm warped.  ;D

I enjoyed Desolace in my early 30s. Had fun running the centaur clan quests, Mannoroc Coven, Valley of Bones, etc. Good grinding as a skinner, too (including scorps to provide scales).

40s I moved into Tanaris and enjoyed that as well. Target rich environments, pirates and lots to skin. ;)

Recently I've been having fun with my forays into both Plaguelands and Winterspring...

Remember of course that I'm newer here than most, and your mileage may vary. :D Looking forward to getting through the Portal in the not too distant future and exploring there as well.

I haven't done a lot of grinding since before TBC, but one of my favorite places then was the blood-elf camp in Ashzara.  The Satyr's in Fellwood were also nice.

I used his horde guide..  was awesome - so his alliance guide is probably good too

Jame's Leveling guide, just tells you where to go, when to switch zone, when to grind, what to buy before you leave the city to go and quest, etc.   Made me an efficient leveler and now I have a blood elf mage lvl 70 in kara :D

Thanks for the link, but the information is a little bit outdated.  Pretty sure last update was prior to BC.  Aerie Peak quests were totally different with the introduction of 4 quests from a Draenei emissary.  Otherwise very helpful.

It's been a while, but IIRC, the shoreline at Feralas was a very good (and fun) grind spot for early-mid 40s. I say fun because every once in a while you'd aggro one of the elite giants that tend to hang out in the water while trying to kill other critters. That, and the water elementals were generally very good at dropping water (gee, I wonder why...). Got a couple of stacks of 20 off of 'em that have lasted me up 'til now. Come to think of it I am running low...

Also, I'm agreed with the Timbermaw sentiment. Call me crazy, but it's been moderately easy to grind those critters =P

HTH, YMMV, et al...
