I've seen a lot of people not knowing how to start their daily quests. They are pretty simple to "get attuned" to and are a great way to make money.  Some factions also have really nice rewards. This is a how-to guide for the dailies in Skettis, Blades Edge Mountains and Shadowmoon Valley.

I've also included the daily quests that were added in patch 2.3- cooking, battleground, and dungeon daily quests.

Patch 2.4 added the Sunwell and the Shattered Sun Offensive daily quests. Those have also been added :)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sha'tari Skyguard Faction Rewards: http://wowhead.com/?faction=1031
Ogrila Faction Rewards: http://wowhead.com/?faction=1038

Skettis Dailies
Skettis is located in Terrokar Forest, near Auchidoun. Lots of evil arrakoa live there and a group known as the Sha'tari Skyguard wants you to help destroy them. You get Skyguard rep for doing these quests. The Sha'tari Skyguard also have an outpost in BEM, which I will discuss later.

To start the Skettis quests, you will need a regular flying mount. Go to the flight master in Shattrath and talk to the troll standing next to him. She will give you the quest "Threat from Above" (http://wowhead.com/?quest=11096). Complete this quest, talk to her again, and head to Skettis.

Skettis Daily 1: Fires Over Skettis  http://wowhead.com/?quest=11008
Reward: 11.99g, 350 Sha'tari Skyguard rep
Talk to Sky Sergeant Doryn to recieve this quest. Use the Skyguard Blasting Charges to blow up the eggs on top of the platforms around Skettis. Watch out for Monstrous Kaliri- big brown birds. They will hamstring you and can dismount you. They cannot dismount druids in flight form.

Skettis Daily 2: Escape from Skettis (aka free potions!)
http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11085
Reward: 9.90g, 350 Sha'tari Skyguard rep, and 2 [wowitem]Volatile Healing Potion[/wowitem] or 2 [wowitem]Unstable Mana Potion[/wowitem]
You receive this quest by talking to the Skyguard prisoner. He can be found in one of 3 random locations as shown on this map  http://wowhead.com/?maps=3519:598751750860680739  , or if you have a mod with coordinates, he can be found at 60,75; 75,86; or 68,71.  Try to group with others as you will be able to find and complete the escort more quickly.  The prisoner is always found in a cage in a tree. All three places he spawns look like this:

At some point, 2 arrakoa will appear and attack the prisoner, along with any other arrakoa already on the platforms. Defend the prisoner and escort him across the bridge to the second platform, then down to the ground. Turn the quest in at the Skyguard base camp in Skettis.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ogri'la Dailies
The Ogri'la are a faction of ogres in the Blade's Edge Mountains. They are currently fighting a war against both the Black Dragonflight and the Burning Legion, who seek the Apexis Crystals for their own purposes.

The quest chain to start your Ogri'la dailies starts in Lower City from the ogre near the fruit vendor (see http://wowhead.com/?quest=10983).  Head to the Circle of Blood in Blade's Edge Mountains to pick up 3 more quests.

You must complete these 3 quests, in any order, to continue the questline. These links list the next quests and boss strategies under the comments. I recommend getting a group of 5, including a tank and healer to work on these. You must kill 3 gronn: Grulloc, Skulloc, and Maggoc. See quest details at http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10995 http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10996 http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10997

After completing these quests, return to the Circle of Blood. Don't abandon your group just yet! Complete http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10998 , head back to the Circle of Blood, and finally http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11000 .  Enjoy your ogre party!

Now that you're done enjoying the free ogre brew, feel free to abandon your group. Pick up http://wowhead.com/?quest=11009 and head to Ogri'la in the Blade's Edge Mountains. Complete http://wowhead.com/?quest=11025 , http://wowhead.com/?quest=11058 , and http://wowhead.com/?quest=11080 .   Also complete the chain: http://wowhead.com/?quest=11030 and http://wowhead.com/?quest=11061 . These quests are very short and most rewards about 10g.

Finally, you have opened up your Ogri'la and extra Skyguard Dailies!

Ogri'la Daily 1: The Relic's Emanation http://wowhead.com/?quest=11080
Reward: 9.90g, 250 Ogri'la rep, [wowitem]Apexis Shard[/wowitem]x15
Find an apexis monument, insert your shard, and have fun playing Simon Says! I often write down the color combinations or type them out in the  /say channel.

Ogri'la Daily 2: Banish More Demons! (requires Honored: Ogri'la) http://wowhead.com/?quest=11051
Reward: 11.99g, 350 Ogri'la rep, [wowitem]Kronk's Grab Bag[/wowitem],[wowitem]Apexis Shard[/wowitem]x15
Go to one of the Forge Camps north or south of Ogri'la. Use a banishing crystal (requires an apexis shard to use) to open a portal. Kill a demon near that portal. Repeat 15 times. You can use the same portal more than once but they only last for 3 minutes! Also, make sure you don't kill your demons close to someone else's portal, otherwise they will get the credit for the banishing and you will not.

BEM Skyguard Daily 1: Wrangle More Aether Rays http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11066
Reward: 11.99g, 350 Sha'tari Skyguard and Ogri'la rep, [wowitem]Apexis Shard[/wowitem]x15
Find an aether ray outside of Ogri'la  and knock it down to 20% health. Then use the wrangling rope to capture the ray. Capture 5 and take them back to Skyguard Khatie. You can take them back one at a time also if you don't like them flying above your head. I reccomend doing this one AFTER you go bombing or doing your Apexis Emanations- otherwise the aether ray may get in your way.

BEM Skyguard Daily 2: Bomb them Again
http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11023
Reward: 11.99g, 500 Sha'tari Skyguard and Ogri'la rep, [wowitem]Apexis Shard[/wowitem]x15
Take the Skyguard bombs and drop them on the stacks of ammo in the forge camp while riding your flying mount. They look like piles of cannonballs with a red arrow above them. It's a good idea to remember the 5 "D"s while doing this quest: Dodge, dive, duck, dip, and dodge.  I like to swerve up and down a lot so the fel cannon flak fire does not hit you. If it hits you, you will be dismounted and be on fire! And you may have landed on top of a demon... This one takes some practice, but you'll get the hang of it. Also, don't fly too high when you're first starting out!

---------------------------------------

Netherwing Dailies (require 300 riding skill- the 5200g one)
Once you've done your Skyguard and Ogri'la dailies for long enough, you might have saved up enough to buy the epic flying skill. If so, you can start the Netherwing Dailies.

Head to Netherwing Field (just south of The Warden's Cage) in Shadowmoon Valley. You will find an "elf" named Mordenai, who will give you the quest "Kindness" (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10804).  The next step asks you to talk to Neltharaku, a dragon flying above Netherwing Field. Since he's a flying NPC, it's sometimes tough to get in range of him to turn in the quest. Try flying below him or turning on the "click to move" option in your interface options, then right clicking the dragon if you have trouble talking to him.  After listening to his story, you get to kill some orcs (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10836).

After turning this quest in, you get to go to Netherwing Ledge to hunt for Nethervine Crystals (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10837).  Watch out for flying patrols and the groups of 3 orcs that often are near the crystals. Also, elites called "Dragonmaw Ascendants" patrol most of Netherwing Ledge. They are very tough to kill and will probably kill you in 2-3 hits, so watch out! The next quest involves freeing some dragons from the Dragonmaw Orcs near Netherwing Field (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10854). Use the crystal on a drake, then kill the orcs near it so that the drake can fly away. Be careful not to aggro the drake before you use the crystal- you cannot use the crystal in combat.

The final part of the chain involves freeing Karynaku, Nethalku's mate.  Find a group of 4-5 to complete this step. You will need a tank and a healer. Talk to Karynaku when your group is ready to start the final quest- killing Zuluhed the Whacked (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10866).  I suggest a few things for this fight: First, kill all the orcs near Karynaku and the ones on the top floors of the buildings around her. Have your dpsers and healers wait inside one of the buildings. Have your tank start the quest and take Zuluhed into the building the dpsers and healer is waiting in. When Zuluhed appears, archers will fire arrows at anyone not in the the buildings, so make sure everyone gets inside quickly. They cannot be killed but are easily avoided. Zuluhed will summon a demon during the fight. The tank needs to get aggro on the demon and the dps needs to kill Zuluhed and any orcs that respawn during the fight. Kill the demon, loot the key from Zuluhed, and set Karynaku free! After talking to Nethalku again, you are ready to start your Netherwing Dailies!

Once you talk to Nethalku, you are disguised as an orc whenever you are in the orc camp near Netherwing Field or on Netherwing Ledge. This means you WILL NOT be able to attack most of the orcs in the area, including Zuluhed if you want to help other people kill him later. I haven't check this but you might be able to check "At war" with the Netherwing Faction under your reputation tab in order to kill these orcs again.

You start with Neutral Reputation with the Netherwing. You also get several quests to advance your reputation. If you do all the quests you can every day, you should be exalted in about 2-3 weeks. Once you hit friendly, you can still do the neutral reputation quests for more reputation.

Neutral Daily Quests:

A Slow Death http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11020
Rewards: 11.99g, 250 Netherwing Rep
You must gather fel glands to poison orcs on Netherwing Ledge. You can kill the aether rays on Netherwing Ledge, or felboars and fel diemetradons anywhere in Shadowmoon. The drop percentages on wowhead are skewed since not everyone killing felboars has this quest.  It is helpful to do this quest with another person as you can both farm glands and will both get credit for taking out camps of orcs.  When poisoning the orcs, be very careful. The Dragonmaw Ascendant patrols will still attack you even though the orc peons will not! Also, make sure that the orcs you are going to poison are not bugged (they will appear stuck and won't move- the unbugged ones will mine the crystals they are near). If the orcs are bugged, the orcs may not actually eat the poisoned meat.

The Not-So-Friendly Skies http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11035
Rewards: 11.99g, 250 Netherwing Rep
For this quest, head to one of the islands between Netherwing Ledge and the rest of Shadowmoon Valley. Watch out for orcs to fly by on netherdrakes. Kill them- they will have a chance of dropping the item for this quest. Although the orcs appear "aggressive," they will not attack you or fly to your ledge until you attack them first... Have fun skilling up your bows and guns, melee classes ;)

Netherwing Crystals
http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11015
Rewards: 11.99g, 250 Netherwing Rep
Netherwing crystals can be obtained by killing anything on Netherwing Ledge. The aether rays flying around are nice- they drop motes of mana in addition to crystals and you can also skin them for a chance at a nethermine flayer hide (see gathering quests below). The flayers on the island will also drop them. You can also find them on any creatures in the Netherwing Mines.

Gathering Quests:
Depending on your professions, you can CHOOSE 1 of these quests per day, but it doesn't always have to be the same one. For example, if you have herbalism and skinning, you can turn in Netherdust Pollen one day, but not Nethermine Flayer Hides. You can turn in either one the next day, however, depending on which quest you pick up. You can gather any of these items even if you are not on the quests.

Netherdust Pollen http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11017
Rewards: 11.99g, 250 Netherwing Rep
Find Netherdust Pollen from Netherdust bushes around Netherwing ledge and near the dragonmaw fortress on the mainland. It requires 350 herbalism to pick. It also has a chance of dropping in sets of 3-5 from [wowitem]Sludge-covered object[/wowitem], which you can get from the slimes in the netherwing mines.

Nethermine Flayer Hides http://wowhead.com/?quest=11016)
Rewards: 11.99g 250 Netherwing Rep
You can get Nethermine Flayer hides from the flayers near the fortress on Netherwing Ledge or from any of the ravagers or flayers inside the netherwing mines. Like the Netherdust pollen, it also may drop in sets of 3-5 from [wowitem]Sludge-covered object[/wowitem], from the slimes in the mine.

Nethercite Ore http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11018
Rewards: 11.99g, 250 Netherwing Rep
Find nodes of Nethercite ore in the mines and around Netherwing Ledge. These take 350 mining to mine. You can also get gems and motes from these mines.  Like the Netherdust pollen, it also may drop in sets of 3-5 from [wowitem]Sludge-covered object[/wowitem], from the slimes in the mine.

The Great Netherwing Egg Hunt http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11049
Rewards: 11.99g and 350 Netherwing rep for first turn in, 0g and 250 rep for subsequent turn ins
Note: This is not a daily quest. You can turn it in whenever you find a netherwing egg, which you can find by killing any of the mobs on Netherwing ledge, in ore nodes, in netherdust bushes, or you may actually see an egg on the ground (it will have lots of purple smoke rising out of it). If you are in a group, everyone will need to roll on the item. If you want to boost your rep up fast, look for the eggs. There are many videos on youtube that show all the possible locations the eggs can appear.

Friendly Daily Quests

The Booterang: A Cure for the Common Worthless Peon http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11055
Rewards: 11.99g, 350 Netherwing Rep
You must do a prerequisite in Netherstorm before this quest. Talk to me if you need knothide leather, I've got tons of it. You probably noticed the sleeping, confused, and angry peons while poisoning the other peons. Mount up and fly around, using your booterang on these guys. You can keep flying after you toss your booterang- you don't need to stick around and wait for the quest credit. This is one of my favorite quests!

Picking up the Pieces http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11076
Rewards: 18.28g, 350 Netherwing rep
Get this quest from the Mistress of the Mines- the big 6-armed lady at the mine entrance. Find the minecarts in the Netherwing Mines and pick up the cargo in them. It goes more quickly if you work on this one while you work on killing the ravagers and flayers (see next quest).

Dragons are the Least of Our Problems http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11077
Rewards: 11.99g, 350 Netherwing rep
Get this quest from any Dragonmaw Foreman inside the Netherwing Mines. Find the ravagers and flayers and kill them. These drop lots of Netherwing flayer hides for you skinners and some will drop crystals. The ravagers are harder to find, so I'd suggest grouping up if lots of people are in the mine.

Honored Daily Quests

Disrupting the Twilight Portal
http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11086
Rewards: 11.99g, 500 Netherwing rep
Head to the Twilight Portal in Nagrand and kill 20 Deathshadow agents. Pretty easy, but watch out for the elites patrolling the area.

Revered Daily Quests

The Deadliest Trap Ever Laid
Aldor: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11101
Scryer: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11097
Rewards: 500 Netherwing rep
This quest depends on your faction: Scryer or Aldor. After picking up the prerequisite (only needed the first time you do this quest), head to Sanctum of the Stars or the Altar of Shatar in Shadowmoon to continue this quest. The quest asks you to defend your faction's base from attack by the dragonmaw orcs. 2-3 people should be enough for this quest, especially if one is a healer. Fight the orcs outside your faction's base for about 5 minutes and you will complete this quest. Wowhead suggests aggroing orcs and takign them into your faction's base for the guards to kill but I don't know how reliable this is. They also suggest healing the main NPC if you are a healer and running out of line of sight to drop combat and drink.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Other Dailies
Patch 2.3 introduced a couple new daily quests. Here they are!

Battleground Daily
Rewards: 11.99g and 419 bonus honor at lvl 70
This quest is obtained from an NPC near any battlemaster in all major capital cities. The quest targets a random battleground. To complete the quest, your team must win a game of that battleground. This quest can be completed at any level (as long as you are high enough level to enter the particular battleground in the quest).

Cooking Daily
Rewards: [item]Barrel of Fish[/item] or [item]Crate of Meat[/item]
Obtained from "The Rokk" in Lower City. He asks you to cook up different recipies that will require Outlands level cooking and to get a new item. Possible quests:

Usually, you get 6-8g, some gray vendor items that sell for 2-20g, [item]Sharpened Fish Hook[/item], [item]Elixir of Water Walking[/item], and motes of water. Possible quests are:

Dungeon Daily

Rewards: 16.4g, [item]Ethereum Prison Key[/item]
This quest is obtained in Lower City near the World's End Tavern from an Etheral . It requires you to kill a certain number of mobs in an instance. This usually does not require you to complete the instance. The dungeon changes daily. As a reward, you receive [item]Ethereum Prison Key[/item], which can be used for Consortium reputation (see http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29460#comments for more information)

Heroic Daily
Rewards: 24.9g, [item]Badge of Justice[/item]x2, 350 Consortium Rep, 350 Rep with associatied dungeon faction

Hellfire Citadel: Honor Hold Rep
Tempest Keep: Sha'tar Rep
Auchindoun: Lower City
Coilfang Resivoir: Cenarion Expedition
Caverns of Time: Keepers of Time

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shattered Sun Dailies
Shattered Sun Offensive Reputation Items: http://www.wowhead.com/?faction=1077
Once you become Friendly/Honored/Revered/Exalted with SSO (Shattered Sun Offensive), you can talk to a draenei in the building where the first two quests below are given out to get Aldor and Scryer reputation items, potions, and elixirs.

Isle of Quel Danas Daily Quests
All of these quests are available. We have unlocked all stages of the Shattered Sun Offensive. These are all the quests you can pick up from the Isle. You can get there from the portal in the center of Shattrath or by flying there from Ironforge- you will automatically have the flightpoint.

Arm the Wards! http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11523
Rewards: 9.10g, 150 SSO rep
Kill the wreched fiends on the west side of the island. When you get 4 mana remnants, take them to one of the big red crystals near the SSO buildings and use them.

Further Conversions http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11525
Rewards: 9.10g, 150 SSO rep
Kill the robots on the west side of the island, then use the Attuned Crystal Core on them.

Know Your Ley Lines http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11547
Rewards: 11.99g, 250 SSO rep, [item]Darnarian's Scroll of Teleportation[/item]
Use the crystal in the area where you kill the demons for “The Battle Must Go On,” near a shrine near the naga, and near the big red crystal where all the blood elves are in the southwest area of the isle. The scroll you get will teleport you back to Shattrath if you use it while on the isle. This quest is easily completed while doing the other daily quests.

The Air Strikes Must Continue http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11533
Rewards: 9.10g, 150 SSO rep
Talk to the lady next to the flight master and fly around to the Dead Scar. Use the bombs to kill the demons. A lot of the Pit Overlords are evade bugged. If you group for this quest and all get on the dragonhawk at the same time, you can do the quest together. You can also go around again if you don’t kill enough enemies the first time around.

Keeping the Enemy at Bay http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11543
Rewards: 7.59g, 250 SSO rep
Take a dragonhawk from the blood elf next to the flight master and ride over the bay. Use the flaming oil to burn the three ships. I believe you can still hit the ships once you land too. Then kill the guards on the ships. If the one you land on is crowded, group up or go to another ship. The dragonhawks on the middle ship will fly you back to the isle.

The Battle Must Go On http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11537
Rewards: 10.10g, 250 SSO rep
Kill the demons near the green portal (which is needed for the Ley Lines quest!). You don’t have to kill the Emissary of Hate, just find his body and use the banner.

Crush the Dawnblade http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11540
Rewards: 11.99g, 250 SSO rep
Go to the area south of where the robots and mana remnant quests are. Kill! There are many right by the crystal needed for the Ley Lines quest.

Don’t Stop Now…. http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11536

Collect berries from the bushes near the robots and fiends or near the naga.

Ata’mal Armaments http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11544
Rewards: 18.28g, 350 SSO rep, [item]Blessed Weapon Coating[/item] or [item]Righteous Weapon Coating[/item]
Although you get this quest on the isle, you must complete it in Outland. Go to the area near Black Temple, head north, and kill the orcs until you get 5 ore. Then return to the isle, and use the ore on the anvil near the questgiver.

Rediscovering Your Roots http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11521
Rewards: 13.88g, 350 SSO rep, [item]Shattered Sun Supplies[/item]
Although you get this quest on the isle, you must complete it in Outland. Head to an area between Shattrath and Hellfire where you can see a bunch of level 70 ravagers. Kill the big ones until you get a gland. Use it on one of the small ravagers but make sure it is not evade bugged first- you can aggro it to see if it is bugged or watch and see if the ravager is moving around. Once you throw the item at it, it becomes your pet. Use the “Expose Razorthorn Root” ability near the small dirt piles to find the roots.

SSO Quests Available in Outland

Available in Shattrath
Gaining the Advantage http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11875
Rewards: 16.39g, [item]Major Rejuvenation Potion[/item]
Only those with a gathering profession can do this quest. Pick it up near the Shattrath flight master. Mine, skin, or pick flowers anywhere in Outland or on Quel Danas and you have a chance to pick up [item]Nether Residue[/item]. Collecting 8 from mining and herb picking can take awhile!

The Multiphase Survey http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11880
Rewards: 9.10g, 250 SSO rep
Put the goggles on when you are in Nagrand (not before, or they won’t work), and fly near Oshu’gun. Use the goggles near the red fiery cloud things- they’re hard to miss.

Pick this quest up near the portal to the Isle in the center of Shattrath. Go to Blade’s Edge and kill etherals near Bashir’s Landing until [item]Bash'ir Phasing Device[/item] drops. Use it to find the mana cells. You will have to kill mana wyrms to get to most of them.

Available in Hellfire Peninsula
To do these quests, you must first complete http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11526
These quests are available kind of near Shatter Point, where Doom Lord Kazzak hangs out. Be careful not to get too close to him.

Blast the Gateway http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11516
Rewards: 10.10g, 250 SSO rep, [item]Shattered Sun Supplies[/item]
Use your flare. Kill the fire elementals in the area. Whenever one dies near you, even if you did not tag it, your flare will gain a charge. Once it gets 8 charges, take it back to the gateway near the questgiver and let it blow up. If you die, you will have to start over. If you use a noncombat pet or a jewelcrafting trinket that makes a pet show up (anything with “Figurine” in the name), the flare will disappear.

Blood for Blood http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=11515
Rewards: 11.99g, 250 SSO rep, [item]Mark of Sargeras[/item]x5 or [item]Sunfury Signet[/item]x5
Kill the Wrath Heralds for the blood. Once you get one, use the fel siphon on a Felblood Initiate. Don’t move until it finishes channeling. Kill the Felblood Initiate. Repeat four times.

General Tips

Once you are honored with the Shattari Skyguard, you can take a free flight path from the Skyguard Outpost in Skettis to the one in BEM or in the other direction if you'd like. This helps a lot when you're going from one quest area to another.

You can complete a maximum of 10 daily quests per day. You can check the number you've completed in your quest log in the top right corner. Any of the quests listed here will count towards your total, so choose wisely!

[wowitem]Kronk's Grab Bag[/wowitem] from the Ogri'la dailies will rewards you fragments of Darkrunes or a whole Darkrune. Turn your whole darkrunes in to Gahk to recieve a Crystalforged Darkrune. You can use this to start a really tough event at Shar'tul's Transporter near the nothern forge camp for a chance at some really cool items. Read more about the event and items at http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32602#comments .

Please reply with any questions or comments and I'll be happy to clarify stuff!

If you have the time, could you add a section for the netherwing dailies? I know they require 300 flying skill and happen after you complete Zulu'hud the Whacked and the other initial quests, but that's about it. =P

Also, great post ^_^

EDIT: I added in the Netherwing rep information. Let me know anything I should change or update- I'm happy to do it. I can also expand the quest sections to include all the quests that will give you Ogri'la, Skyguard, and Netherwing rep that aren't dailies if people are interested!

Edited for SSO dailies. I also added more details to the cooking and fishing dailies.

How much money can you make in one day? I found this calculator that lets you enter which daily quests you do and it will tell you how much gold and what rep you will get.
