Ran across this video which makes the Magmaw fight look pretty simple:

It's for 10 man, but it seems like it might work on 25 too.  Apparently the pillar of fire ability has a minimum range of about 15 yards.

Ooookay... the second guy is about as useful as John Madden for commentary during that video. Hello useless information. I don't give a crap about Dune, much as I love the book, I wanna know how to kill stuff!

Yeah, some of the commentary is annoying but the strategy appears pretty good.

I saw another video where hunters and rogues used MD/Tricks of the trade to get the bugs to follow a tank, who then kiting them while they were aoe'd down.
