Primal Air - hardest one to get IMO...farm air elementals in nagrand or the elemental plateua
Primal Fire - Fire elementals in Blades Edge Mountains Ogri-la plateau have GREAT drop rates...and I have yet to see anyone competing with me for them
Primal Earth - talk to your nearest miner...they have a crapload of em
Primal Mana - the ghoulies in netherstorm get farmed a LOT, so I like to farm the aether rays on the blades edge mountain Ogri-la plateau...they have great drop rates too, but you have to compete with the people trying to lasso them...
Primal water - the water elementals in Skettish areas in terrokar are easy kills and high drop

just my two cents on how to farm that stuff

Elemental Plateu is a nightmare unless you're there off-hours.  I'd also recommend SE or NE SMV for air elementals.

[Air]

Shadowmoon Valley is a good place to go for primal's.  Also Airplay can do primal might transmutes.
