I've always heard it pronounced with a hard "Gee", Fi...like a fish gill...Gill-eeun. But we tend to saw the edges off of words here in the South...so ya never know!

ROFL - must be because you have the same background my mother does - her entire family is from the regions south of the Mason-Dixon. She was reading Trinity by Leon Uris and read "Gillian" as "Gill-eeun" instead of "Jillian" as Mr. Uris (being Irish) probably would've pronounced it.

So congrats! I now owe you... something... I'll figure it out when I get in game =P
