Haha, yeah. 3 long years. I probably won't get it because I have the G-15.
...which I just looked up. Did you see the new model? http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/keyboards/keyboard/devices/3498&cl=us,en

I lost faith in Logitech keyboards. I had the Bluetooth Laser Combo and I had a slew of issues with that damn keyboard, it frustrated me so much so that I went with Microsoft's Bluetooth Pro set and ive had no problems at all. For anything to make me look to Microsoft as an alternative solution, it has to be bad because I loathe Microsoft.

Logitech wouldnt fix the Bluetooth and they refused to provide adequate support on the web forums about issues with it. I got an update once every 6 months when I was lucky and every time I listened to iTunes or Winamp and the song changed, I would hit a lag spike due to the software. That and it would just cut out on me sometimes and the keyboard would vanish from the list of trusted devices.

Mice I will buy from them still, but Keyboards they can stick it on. I was a long time customer too, was a crying shame to see the quality go so far downhill in such an extreme way.

I haven't had to much of an issue with mine, besides the back light flashing here and there. I know Airtotem had to send his in to get it repaired. Hadn't heard of the issue with lag, I can definitly say that would drive me up the walls.
What Microsoft Keyboard do you use?

Getting back on topic. I'm just fascinated with the idea of having little LCD screens on keyboard buttons. This is totally another step forward in the customization of keyboards and input peripherals as a whole.

I went with http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/mice_pointers/mice/devices/187&cl=us,en for the mouse. I had too many bad things happen trying to play wow with a wireless mouse.

I might look at http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/productdetails.aspx?pid=080 since its a rechargeable keyboard, save me batteries.

I really don't understand using wireless input devices.

Mini wireless mouse for a laptop if you move around a bunch, ok.  But for everyday use it seems more hassle than it's worth.  When I play computer I'm sitting right in front of the thing, it's not like I'm sitting on the couch with the computer across the room.  I also play sitting upright in a chair... I've tried playing laying down, on my side, what have you, but it just doesn't feel right and I always end up sitting upright.  Batteries also are a pain, I can't tell you how many times Nasanna's mouse has died in the middle of something tricky in-game.  She's moved to wired mice again because it's annoying as hell to be dealing with an overpull or pvp and suddenly no input and your screen shows you whirling around like a blackhawk going down from .50 cal AA fire.  Lets see... I can use radio technology that consumes batteries and may have connectivity issues to send a signal two feet away... or I could just run a damn USB cable.  easy choice for me!

wow, megatokyo. been a looong time since I've seen that! lol

I never had issue with the wireless keyboard on WoW, just the mouse, so I went with a wired gaming mouse. My desk is a bit cluttered as I do a lot of work from home and having 2 less wires around is actually a large help considering I have about 30 or so already spread all over. It also allows me a little bit of flexibility to sit on the couch behind my desk and type from there, or when im working on a friends computer to have free movement.
