Assigning mouse buttons

So I just noticed (perhaps it came in a new version) that Trinket Menu has an option to assign your trinkets to a mouse button click (scroll wheel, additional mouse buttons, etc).  When I went into the menu to assign these it didn't work.  Is there some other program I get to make this work?  Does anyone else use this functionality?  I just want to assign my trinkets to activate by clicking either the scroll wheel or the thumb button.

Can anyone help with this?

Try Clique maybe. Trinket Menu I dont think has been updated since April last year so thats prob why it doesnt work. I actually need to take that off the file list on the site because of that =P
