How to learn Armorsmith on the cheap

If you would rather not travel all over the planet doing the various Armorsmith quests, nor gathering insane amounts of materials (mithril alone requires 300+ bars) then I would recommend becoming a Weaponsmith first.  The patterns needed to become a Weaponsmith are fairly common and the materials needed are reasonable as well as fairly common.  You also need travel no further than the nearest AH.  Also, if you're under level 65, it's only 5g to drop Weaponsmith.  Once you drop it, talking to the original dwarf that sends you to the quest givers will let you take up Armorsmithing for free and without having to do the insane quests for the various patterns and materials.

Roknok is now an Armorsmith with 272 skill.  Once I gather enough Thorium to get to 300, then I can move onto Outland for both level and profession progression.
