The power of nature is frightening to say the least, working outside stuck between 3 tornadoes was scary enough for me.  Triangular formation around our site area.

Hiya Twilight heres some more of an update Me and my family are fiine and safe again. i have some awsome pictures to share of what can happen when you stay with someone who lives near water.. and with this i am really afraid to see what my own house looks like i am in th process of downloading some of them now. thats my update and the pictures will be posted in about 15 mins

1.) Is the yard of my old trailor the flooding took no more then 10mins to get that high ( and it got even worse by the time it finished)

2.) thats whats left of the road to get in to it

3.) the tree that made my moms house and the others lose power

4.) needs no explaining on that im a crazy lady walking in Black Bayou Water in front on my turck which almost got stuck lol...

Wow... Those are some interesting pictures. How long will it take for all the water to drain away and the trees and everything to get cleared away?

It's still there nas and as far as i know getting higher with the rain my mom tried to get back to her road which is right and front and had to turn back in reverse cause the water was getting in her truck. These were taken yesterday spet.13,2008 at 12 pm. and it's the 14th at 1pm and maybe went 10-12 inches higher. were going to try to get back either this afternoon or tomorrow when they say its safe.

lol that was about my 5th one had a good buzz waiting on slow pokes in that park to pack so i could take them out which is why theres actually a picture of me in the whole hurricane flood... and yeah BUD LIGHT rocks! we bbq and chilled out side in the house we had to move to after the kids went to sleep lol we tend to almost always make the best out of bad situations.. maybe thats another reason why i chose to take my pictures there instead of my moms road.. and the fact that use to me the place i called my home hehe.....

Wow Kaj!  Thanks for sharing your pics, glad you and yours are ok   Yah know, I generally don't like beer, but those pics almost make me want to come down there and drink and dance in the rain with you lol

Phew, glad to hear y'all are doing well, kaj. Even moreso to see that you're still able to enjoy yourself
