[blizzard]We had hoped that the introduction of some new Honor rewards in the upcoming patch would give players a great opportunity to spend any of their remaining Honor. However, many players would still be surprised by an Honor and token reset as it isn’t something we’ve done in the past. As such, we've decided to not reset Honor or tokens upon the release of Wrath of the Lich King. Players who save their Honor will be able to spend it on level 80 rewards, although those rewards will be significantly more expensive than their level 70 counterparts.[/blizzard]

The devil is in the details.

It seems they got  a few complaints and reversed thier decision, but did they really?  How much of an increase does each piece cost?   Hypothetically speaking, if it cost us 75k honor to get a full pvp set, and now it will cost  150k,  this in the long run is actaully worse than resetting honor points.  Im my senerio, although we would be able to get some pieces the moment we hit llevel 80, its still going to take a pvp grind of 75k to get the whole set (if the honor was reset and the prices were the same, it would also take a 75k grind to get the full set).  As well, once you spend all honor, each and every piece we want to purchase (for season 2,3,5..etc) would take twice as long to get.

This could be much much worse for us in the long wrong.

could just give us double honor at 80 to make up for it, it'll likely all get get re-tuned a few months after release... atleast now we don't have to arbitrarily blow our points so we don't lose em.

Still glad I didn't spend any points or marks
