(EDIT: Aww, just did more research and realized I have to also get the item from Nightbane and take it to SP to qualify.  Well that's not gonna happen in one day, so I guess I'm title-less. Doesn't change my thanks to you guys though!)

Alas, it would need to be before Mag, and I don't get out of work until 8 server time. Plus, there's no such thing as a "quick Nightbane" in my experience. 

(Would only work if 10 of us skipped Gruul to do Kara...)

You are very welcome Gut, and i think with a solid group we can do Nightbane in 1-1.5 hrs, i'll try to be online around 6 pm (server time) if you want to try it

ive never tried it, but is it possible to just go in the side door to start, and clear the TWO mobs before nightbane? if you can we can do nightbane easy in 10-15 mins (since that GD fight takes forever)...id be willing to help on a 10-15 only kill nightbane run before mag/gruul...

IIRC, the side door does not open for the raid until opera has been completed.  I believe you can skip Attumen, Moroes, and Maiden, however.

I would, but the earliest I can get on is maybe 8 server. I wouldn't ask anyone to go out of their way for just me, but if there did happen to be a Kara group underway at that point, and they happened to be at Nightbane, well....

Had to re-update this to give HUGE thanks to all who helped me finally get the Champion title, with a whole hour to spare! First there was the Mag kill quest, which was business as usual for us, but I was prepared to give up after that, thinking there was no way to get through 5 Kara bosses at that hour. But Cronic stepped up with news that he was saved to a Kara run that was already up to Nightbane! (big thanks #1)

Those who are familiar with my tale know how many bad NB runs I've been on, so I was concerned but hopeful as we got a group together...

... and on the very first run, that $%)(*&)@# dove RIGHT AT ME and one-shotted me. 

After a couple more wipes (due to non-Twilighters who liked standing in fires), we changed to a strategy of "keep adding priests til it works," but we didn't get him down until Shadow's hunter joined us (big thanks #2).

Then it was on to heroic SP, with more Twilight volunteers than I could even fit in a group. (big thanks #3) Everything was fine, except for how I DC'ed halfway through, and then realized that one of the quest items was in my bank.  (In my defense, I never believed I was going to get to that point!)

So finally, at 1 AM Pacific, we reached the quest guy and turned it in, leading to drunken debauchery in Shatt for all the newly titled Twilighters. 

I can't remember all the various mains and alts who stepped in to get this done for me, so consider this a blanket thanks to all of you, and if there's anything you need that I might have (blue gems, ores/bars, etc.), either now or post-expansion, just ask.
