Hopefully this will help them control the bots that are running around out there.  An interesting tid-bit is that blizz says then spend $83k per month to fight bots.  That struck me as a surprisingly low number. 

If you just assume that all employees dedicated to finding bots earn on average $40k per year (prob about right based on comparable service & tech jobs), then that puts them at about 25 people covering all of WoW.  If they included overhead, benefits etc in the calculation, they have far fewer than 25 people dedicated to the integrity of their 9 million+ player-base.
